The Planet Eclipse ETHA series has stood for reliable paintball markers and fiery fun on the field since the first ETHA.
While the "fun guarantee", reliable technology and user-friendliness remain at a fair price - the optics of the ETHA3 have been upgraded!
- electropneumatic marker with lots of firepower
- tubeless, sporty design
- shoots gently, precisely and quietly
- low-maintenance and user-friendly
- quick release bolt system
- Clamping feed and blade trigger made of aluminium
The Planet Eclipse ETHA has always stood for an inexpensive, electro-pneumatic marker for the ambitious beginner, hobby player but also aspiring tournament players.
Very robust, really low-maintenance, easy on the battery for many hours of paintball fun.
The Planet Eclipse ETHA3 follows in the footsteps of its predecessor - so you can get into paintball with it without much technical knowledge but with plenty of firepower or if you already play paintball let off steam even more.
At first glance you can see that the look of the ETHA has changed significantly.
The slim body looks much sportier, the low-rise clamp feed and the blade trigger made of aluminum look much higher quality.
As with the ETHA2, the air supply runs directly through the grip, which is equipped with a "Pops ASA" adapted to the Etha.
No more tiresome screwing at the airport, air can be applied to the marker or deflated again with a flick of the wrist.
The PE ETHA3 is powered as usual by a 9 volt block, which is housed in the front handle.
Changing the battery is easier than ever thanks to the "Lock and Load" system, as it can be changed quickly and easily without tools.
Once again, the Gamma Core bolt system known from the Planet Eclipse GTEK ensures quiet and smooth shooting, as befits a mid-range marker.
Efficient in terms of air consumption and weather-resistant, whether hot or cold, the ETHA3 is sure to be your faithful companion on the paintball field.
Probably the big change compared to the predecessor, matching the sporty, slim design, is the bolt cap or the bolt release system.
The design extends seamlessly to the rear end of the marker and, as is already known from the GTEK series, the bolt is no longer screwed, but simply fixed or released with a flick of the wrist using a bayonet lock.
To round off the topic of user-friendliness even more, the grip shells of the front grip and the actual grip can be removed without tools for proper cleaning - the well-known "Quick Grips" as on the predecessor.
In general, the Planet Eclipse ETHA3 is comfortable to hold as usual, is well balanced and the distances between the grips and the trigger frame make an optimized impression.
What can I say - like its predecessor, the ETHA3 is a top marker!
However, the wheel has not been reinvented - in line with the price, however, the new ETHA3 has been provided with a few upgrades which are really nice.
I think it's particularly nice that it has a sportier design, which will make it a great beginner's marker for tournament paintball too!
